Thank You For Purchasing a GloË By Zoë Skin Care Candle & Supporting Our Small Business

So now down to business, how do you care for your candle and get the most out of it? How do I care for my wood wick? How to do I maximize my moisturization? We got you boo.

  • It is essential to practice safety while using your body oil candle. Make sure your wick is no more than 1/4 inch above your wax (if not trim it). Using a long handle lighter, light the wood wick from one side to the other making sure the fire makes contact with the candle oil. Let candle burn for at least 15-20 minutes while in shower or bath to melt enough oil to moisturize your whole body. Be sure to blow out the flame before pouring onto your hand or body. The oil will not burn as the ingredients have a lower burning point than regular candle wax. Feel free to spread the oil all over your body (neck down) and enjoy! The oil can also be used as a massage oil ;) Enjoy!

  • 1) Always trim your wick before each use, removing all charred wood from previous burns. If you don’t, the wick may not stay lit long enough to fuel the flame, causing it to extinguish itself. To trim a wooden wick remove all charred wood (we suggest using a wick trimmer).

2)Make sure to allow the wax to melt across the entire surface of your candle on the first burn- this helps prevent tunneling, which can impact how well the candle burns.

These two simple tips will help your wick burn clean and long for the entire life of your body oil candle.

  • The best time to use our body oil candle is immediately after you shower or bathe. It will help lock in the skin's hydration. Just after toweling off, pour the oil in your hand or on your body and rub it in completely. Wait until the oil dries entirely and gently blot away any excess using a soft towel as needed. The goal is to leave the skin feeling soft but not greasy. The oil will absorb differentlydepending on your skin type.
